Fuelspot.com is a trade- and exchange site for
the petroleum industry. Granitar had started the project to develop the site in late 1999.
Christian joined this project after it successfully launched the website and had already
seen one major functional addition to the site. The objective was to add several new functional elements.
Due to the flood of new requirements, several programming efforts were going on at the same time.
The team worked concurrently on four releases of the site. Christian was responsible for the
implementation of a set of
new features ( 58K).
He transformed the functional specifications into a technical design and worked with engineering and
with Idapta support on the implementation.
During peak times, Christian oversaw 8 Java developers working on the project. Christian carried out
release management tasks for the project as well. Granitar was committed to cut a daily release and
publish it to the QA environment.
Christian also contributed to the
Developer's Style Guide ([an error occurred while processing this directive]).
